Brenda Arden

Abiding Savior Preschool Director Since 2020

Brenda Arden is a Nebraska native.  She is a graduate of Concordia University in Seward, NE with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and a Concentration in Early Childhood.  Brenda taught for 21 years at St. James Lutheran School in Lafayette, IN.  During her time at St. James, she was the teacher/director of Preschool 3s and Pre-Kindergarten 4s for 9 years followed by 12 years as the second-grade teacher.  Brenda married her husband Michael in June 2005.  They moved to Gainesville, FL in June 2020 when Brenda accepted the call to serve as the preschool director at Abiding Savior Lutheran Preschool.  She received her Florida Director Credential from the Department of Children and Families in January 2021.  

Brenda feels blessed to be serving in our preschool ministry connecting hearts to Jesus.  In her “spare time”, she enjoys walking, watching movies, spending time with near and faraway family and friends, hiking at the Florida State Parks, and trips to the beach.  One of her favorite Bible verses is Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”  Brenda is thankful for God’s plan to be serving at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church and Preschool.
